Stainless Steel Air Cylinder That Pushes and Pulls
This Parker 1.50DPSR03.00 air cylinder from the SR series has a 1-1/2-inch bore and a 3-inch stroke. Air moves the rod out and back in, so it does not depend on a spring to return. Its slim round body works well where space is tight. This listing is for the 8.5-inch overall length. That number is the catalog length, not a measured length with the rod in or out.
What It's Made Of and How Much It Can Handle
The body and rod are 304 stainless steel, and the piston and end caps are aluminum, so the outside holds up well to moisture and shop dust. The rod can turn, the piston has no magnet, and there is no cushion to soften the stop at each end. It can't be taken apart for repair, so when it wears out you replace it. It handles up to 250 psi and temperatures from -10 to 165 °F, has a silver finish, and is made in the USA.

Making Sure It Fits
Pick this cylinder by part number and measurements, not by how it looks. Before you order, check the space you have, the bore and stroke, the nose thread and pivot hole, the rod thread, the air port size, and your air pressure and temperature against the cylinder you are replacing. We have not confirmed that it fits any specific woodworking machine.
When the measurements match, a cylinder like this is often used to work clamps, hold-downs, feeds, stops, and gates on woodworking and other shop equipment. These are common uses, not a promise that it fits your machine. Since the rod turns, the ends have no cushion, and the piston won't trigger magnetic sensors, you may need a separate rod guide, end stop, or sensor if your setup calls for one.
